Good and flavorful carne asada tacos. I had their carne asada taco with their rice and bean and it was fulfilling, but next time I am just gonna go for their awesome tacos.
Around that area where they're located, I can run my errands very easily where there's a salon next door to them and I've been there for my hair and nails.
There's also a Mobil gas station across the street where I find the price is under average. -

The tripa and carnitas tacos are the best. $2.50 each! Ordered three and I'm a happy camper for the evening.
Extremely tiny hole-in-the-wall with a few tables and stools inside. It may looked dim and closed but it's just the dark tinted windows. Trust me, once inside, you might catch some action or two that's in the parking lot as clear as day!! lol
It's well-maintained and located pretty hidden behind a McDonald's parking lot on Winchester Blvd.
Always a fast no-frill yummy meal before heading to downtown Campbell or Santana Row for a night out in town! Save $$$ on dinner and invest it on the drinks. jk ;) -

I have a group of fitness folks that get together on Tuesdays, workout, then go get tacos. We tried this place for the first time a couple Tuesdays ago, and the group was not thrilled. There wasn't anything particularly BAD about the place but there wasn't anything particularly good either. Flavors were barely there, like you thought you tasted something good but it was just blah. It was sustenance none the less.
I thought it was acceptable for a taqueria, but of our group of 4 that ate we had one "thumbs down", and two "I'd prefer to not go back, there are better tacos around". When paired with my "I could go either way", it looks like we won't be headed back anytime soon. It's a shame. -

This place looks run down and whack but the workers are so kind and down to earth and the food is pretty dank. They also just gave us a free bag of chips.
The food doesn't look that appetizing, let me be real.It looks messy and trust me, it is. But it is pretty authentic and MEATY. At first I was like wow the tacos aren't cheap, but they are loaded and hefty/filling. We got the Al Pastor and Carne Asada Tacos and they were both really tasty, although Al Pastor had more flavor. The Carne Asada Nachos are a mess but very tasty. There's a lot going on with the guac, sour cream, and cheese, so it's very heavy.
Probably will be back; the food did not disappoint, but I do wish it was open later because this kind of Mexican food be amazing at 2 AM. -

I was craving some really good tacos after having some disappointing fish tacos yesterday and realized, after living in west San Jose for almost my entire life, I had no idea where to get food tacos on this side of town. Thank God for Yelp!!
It was only 10am but I was determined. I ordered two tacos - one with pastor and the other with cabeza. Both were overflowing with meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa. The meats were cooked to perfection and the salsas were good. My only gripe was that the tortilla could have been grilled a little bit (or a little bit more) to give it some more texture and flavor.
Other than that, these were excellent tacos and I will be back!
